Working With Manual Thumb Safeties
10th Aug 2021
Manual thumb safeties used to be very popular on defensive handguns. However, with the introduction of the Glock and the following polymer pistol craze, thumb safeties began to disappear from handguns. Today however we are seeing a resurgence in manual thumb safeties, and many polymer pistols come with them. The problem is that many shooters do not know why they exist or how to properly use them.

This video looks at the why and how of manual thumb safety and examines the importance of safe holstering and the use of a good holster that fits your pistol.
