Nebraska Education Center to Offer Pistol League, Youth Shooting Classes

Nebraska -(Ammoland.com)- The Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center will host a .22-pistol league for shooters of all abilities ages 12 and up on Thursday nights, Oct. 22 through Dec. 10, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The league consists of a 50-round course that is both fun and challenging to shoot for both advanced and novice shooters.
Each session is $12, which includes targets and lane fees. Shooters must provide their own handgun and ammunition. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Additionally, the Outdoor Education Center will offer two youth shooting programs. Intro to Gun Safety and Technique for Young Shooters will teach the basics of firearms to shooters age 8-15 on Wednesdays from Oct. 14 through Dec. 30. These classes will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Best Shots Youth Rifle Marksmanship will help youth improve shooting skills and learn firearm safety on Tuesdays from Oct. 20 through Dec. 8. These classes will take place from6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
